Storm Éowyn was anticipated to be the worst storm to hit Ireland since Storm Debbie in 1961. More than 800,000 homes and businesses on the island of Ireland are without power, 40,000 of those in Dublin where the Dublin Fire Brigade has been busy clearing roads of fallen trees.
