Nationwide status yellow wind warnings are in force as Storm Chandra hits, with powerful gusts of up to 124kmh and more rain falling on saturated ground means flooding is expected. The UK's Met Office has said the storm has the potential to damage buildings, "with flying roof tiles and other debris posing a danger to life". The Indo leads with "Delay your commute if you can today, you won't be going anywhere fast."
