In a bittersweet story, today we say goodbye and offer best wishes to our esteemed colleague, Lughan, (pictured right) as he goes to pastures new.  We will miss you Lughan.

In other news bus and rail passengers face the threat of new industrial action over worker pensions.

It appears that employers are trying to prevent the go ahead of a union merger in Australia - CFMEU-MUA. Our organiser Katie Morgan was heavily involved in the merger ballot, before starting to work in Fórsa recently.

Canada's West Jet has been ordered to change it's hiring practices.  This Reuters news story comes the day before Ryanair's Eddie Wilson is to present, along with Fórsa's Angela Kirk, at the IRN Conference. Incidentally Michael O'Leary has just flown into the Forbes billionaire club, according to the Examiner.
