The keynote speech by Michael D. Higgins, President of Ireland, will take place this morning at 11:00hrs.

 

Constitutional business and reports will commence after lunch at 13:30hrs and EPSU General Secretary Jan Willem Goudriaan will make his presentation to conference at 13:45hrs.

 

A panel debate ‘Mobilising, bargaining, and campaigning for change: why and how we make the difference’ will take place at 16:00hrs.

Dublin's fair city

 

IMMA

 

The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) is located a short distance west of Dublin city centre and is easily accessed via the Luas red line tram (disembark at Heuston).

 

IMMA is located at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. Built in 1680, its design was based on Les Invalides in Paris and it’s the oldest classical building in Ireland.

 

Current exhibitions at IMMA include Acts of Mourning by Colombian artist Doris Salcedo and Then and Now by Janet Mullarney.
