The Guardian is the only news outlet reporting this morning that at least three Ryanair Boeing 737s have been grounded due to cracks between the wing and fuselage but the news wasn't disclosed to the public. 

 

Retail giant Mothercare is set to close all its British stores with the loss of at least 2,500 jobs, the latest victim to consumer preferences for online shopping.

 

Elsewhere, ICTU remembers the Dunnes Stores strikes, 35 years on and, while Brexit is in the freezer, you might enjoy political sketch writer John Crace's account of the accidental catastrophe so far.
