The Government has approved a 5% pay increase for more than 1,600 supervisors and team leaders of employment support schemes. The pay deal will benefit employees of organisations that manage Community Employment Schemes, Tús, the Rural Social Scheme and Job Initiative.

The Irish Times reports that The Garda operation outside the Russian embassy in south Dublin has incurred overtime expenditure of more than €200,000 since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began. 

New documents have shown that the HSE spent at least €8.8m on private management consultants in the first three months of the year, despite hiring more than 5,000 managers internally.
