Notice of AGM: Cork Health & Local Government branch

The AGM will be held on Wednesday, 6th February 2019, commencing at 7pm in the Cork Convention Centre, Clayton Silver Springs Hotel Cork.

 

Tea/Coffee and finger food will be served from 6:30pm.

 

Nominations are invited for the following Branch positions:

  • Branch Chair
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Vice Chair - City Section
  • Vice Chair - County Section
  • Vice Chair - Health & Welfare Section
  • Training & Equality Officer
  • Membership Officer
  • Health & Safety Officer
  • Ordinary Member 5 - City Section
  • Ordinary Member 7 - County Section
  • Ordinary Member 9 - Health Section
  • 3 Honorary Auditors
  • Representatives to Cork Council of Trade Unions (CCTU) will also be sought on the night.

Nominations are also being sought for the following national positions:

  • Nominees to Health & Welfare DEC and Local Government DEC
  • Nominees to Health & Welfare SOC and Local Government SOC

Fórsa’s Divisional Conferences will be held in May 2019. Motions for conference must be submitted to the Cork Branch AGM.

 

The closing date for receipt of nominations for the above Branch positions is Monday 7th January 2019 at 12pm. Only members in benefit are eligible for election. You can download a nomination form here.

 

Nomination forms can also be requested by email here.

 

The closing date for receipt of motions is Monday 7th January 2019 at 12pm. Motions must be submitted in writing and each motion must also be seconded. Only members in benefit may submit a motion. Those seconding motions must also be members in benefit. The branch guidelines on motions can be downloaded here.

 

Free Members Raffle

 

I look forward to seeing you on the night where we will have some excellent speakers and will hold our annual free members raffle for AGM attendees for ten €50 vouchers and a €500 Mahon Point Voucher.
