Fórsa members working in local authorities will commence a campaign of industrial action on 21st and 22nd June, in an ongoing dispute with the Local Government Management Agency (LGMA) over their refusal to establish a job evaluation scheme. Read more on that here.

 

Minister for Housing and Local Government Darragh O'Brien has said he is confident the looming industrial disputes in the retained fire service and Uisce Éireann can be resolved.

Waterford Castle Hotel has been ordered to pay €12,000 for the second unfair dismissal of a general manager in two years.
