Let's have ourselves a roof-raising
by Bernard Harbor

Most outlets report that the HSE has made 'eejits' of the Public Accounts Committee (a body now well capable of doing the job itself), and the Examiner carries strong criticism of services to those with severe mental illness.

And, in unrelated health news, Siptu has pre-announced the "likely" outcome of an industrial action ballot first mooted over the Christmas holidays.

Across the water, A TUC survey unearths widespread harassment of LGBT workers, while veteran pollster Peter Kellner says Corbyn's got his Brexit tactics badly wrong.

Meanwhile, Seamus Mallon warns against a premature border poll, IT Tralee has money worries, and litter law enforcement ain't working (hold the front page, guys).

Oh, and Trump may not be here to disrupt the EPSU Congress after all.

Can there be Zen today, when we must bid farewell to one of my dearest and oldest (in the best way) friends in the union? Nobody sings it like Anna Leonard, but try this. We're going to miss you a lot.

Be good.
