Thursday's round-up
by Mehak Dugal

Good Morning all,

Here are today’s front pages.

SIPTU representatives have expressed concern about the lack of progress on the support and funding for SláinteCare. They told the Joint Oireachtas Health Committee that the HSE recruitment embargo is putting the lives and health of patients at risk. Hundreds of vacancies present across the health sector are worsening the waiting list crisis and delivery of appropriate care.

The four day work week campaign’s public meeting is set to take place in Forsa’s Galway office at Sean Mulvoy Business Park next Thursday, November 28 from 7.30pm. The meeting is one of a series of regional meetings taking place following the launch of 4DWI (Four Day Week Ireland) in September. You can read more about the campaign here.
