The 19 affiliate unions of the Public Services Committee of the ICTU will meet tomorrow morning to discuss the invitation from the government to public service pay talks. In other union news, SIPTU delegates in Galway elected Greg Ennis as the union's new deputy general secretary for the private sector. Union delegates also received an address by RMT general secretary Mick Lynch, who called for a trade union revival to push back against the "global attack on workers' rights."
