Fórsa's motion seeking support from the Department of Education for students with disabilities in their preparation for life beyond secondary school was picked up by the Irish Examiner. Fórsa's Niall Shanahan also spoke to kclr96Fm on the issue.

 

The Irish Examiner also picked up on the School Completion Progeam (SCP) motion calling for mental health supports in schools.

 

An additional 2,000 hospital consultants and 1,000 junior doctor posts should be created by the end of the decade, according to a The National Taskforce on the non-consultant hospital doctor (NCHD) workforce which was established by Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly.
