Rainy night in Georgia
by Niall Shanahan

On Friday evening a number of news outlets reported that Fórsa has sought a stay on Ryanair’s legal action against the union until mediation talks over a dispute on pay and conditions are concluded. The story is also reported in TheJournal and by RTE.

Staying with aviation, Aer Lingus staff have rejected the company's proposals on profit-sharing. That story is in the Indo and Irish Times.

Elsewhere, the Irish Examiner leads with news that the State’s chief procurement officer has resigned from the development board of the new National Children's Hospital.

Yesterday's edition of the Sunday Business Post featured an article by Aaron Rogan about the emerging call for the 'right to disconnect'. The full text of the piece is available upon request (just drop me a line), but it mentions the four-day week campaign in passing, which gets a withering assessment from ISME. Speaking of ISME, its annual conference this week includes our Congress colleague Dr Laura Bambrick in one of its panel discussions.

Zen this morning marks the return of a new series of Later...with Jools Holland. Last week's all woman lineup included the lively funk stylings of Sampa the Great. Check her out below. Also featured was the extraordinary voice of Yebba, and my favourite, Georgia (click the image above).

Have a happy week.
