IALPA Aer Lingus pilots vote for pay deal
by Hannah Deasy

Aer Lingus pilots in Manchester have voted 87% in favour of accepting increases to their basic pay of between 12% and 25%.

The recent deal, negotiated by IALPA, will bring the pay of Aer Lingus pilots closer to the market average in the UK.

IALPA Manchester base rep First Officer Dave Brooks said:

“It’s a positive step forward that members have approved this deal. We are committed to ensuring that our members’ pay, and conditions improve as the Aer Lingus Manchester base grows in the future.”

The Aer Lingus Manchester base was established in 2021 and is covered by a separate collective agreement to ROI pilots.

The agreement runs from 1st July 2024 to 1st July 2027.
