Fórsa’s Aer Lingus Cabin Crew branch committee decided last week not to recommend a 10.25% pay offer to its 1,500 members, following a meeting with management at which the airline declined to apply to cabin crew uplifts already given to ground staff.

Fórsa members at An Bord Pleanála (ABP) have spoken out about their concerns about “serious damage to the hard-won reputation for integrity” of the national planning body. 

Fórsa will return to the WRC on 2nd March to continue discussions on a pay claim for members working in community employment services funded by the Department of Social Protection.

Fórsa attended the WRC on 10th February on behalf of members in the state agency Pobal in the early years programme, Better Start.

Fórsa has written to the Minister Roderic O’Gorman TD, to express what it says are the union’s ‘grave concerns’ on the proposed rate of pay, allocated for domestic violence leave.
