The Irish Times today puts a focus on the rental crisis in Donegal, a county that's seen one of the biggest jumps in rental costs recently as local tenants compete with tourists for scarce properties. Meanwhile, the Indo reports that the newest lender to the Irish market, MoCo, is prepared to issue mortgages that people can pay off until the age of 80

Also in the Irish Times, Cliff Taylor writes that Ireland needs to invest massively – in housing, infrastructure, public transport, climate change - but says as the public finances tighten this will require better delivery and tough decisions, while Arthur Beesley examines how property owners got the Government to defer the new tax on unused housing land.

Elsewhere, Unite is to recommend acceptance of the public sector pay deal and Eolas magazine has this piece by Ictu's Laura Bambrick on the pension age, while Newstalk reports that tens of thousands of people attended a National Demonstration for Palestine in Dublin on Saturday afternoon
