Public service pay talks adjourned just after 3am this morning, and the PSC affiliate unions will meet for a briefing by the officers at 10am.

There's a significant distance between the parties on the matter of pay, and a good deal of media activity is likely to continue today.

Addressing media as we left the WRC early this morning, Kevin said that, as the Government has indicated to the WRC that it is taking time to reflect on the offer being made, the talks have no broken down, and are instead paused. You can hear that statement here.
