Elsewhere, the Indo had this story about how thousands of healthcare workers "have been guaranteed part of their pensions immediately when they retire following delays of up to two years."

 

The Sindo had this story at the weekend, about Microsoft's latest iteration of its AI product, Copilot. The tech giant is boasting that public sector and semi-state firms have been some of the most enthusiastic adopters of the its technology tools - including An Post and the Department of Enterprise - as the demand for systems to quickly generate relevant and accurate response content grows.

 

IALPA members, who are currently balloting for industrial action (and due to meet with Aer Lingus tomorrow) may not be the only aviation workers in dispute this summer, as Siptu warns of a risk of industrial action by baggage handlers and check in staff at Sky Handling Partner, a subsidiary of Group CRIT whose workers provide services to airlines at Dublin Airport.
