New research by the ESRI has found that people living in disadvantaged communities in Ireland have a more negative attitude towards immigration, particularly in areas where there has been an increase in migrants.

Your Zen this morning is about Dublin artist Pat Curran, whose paintings are on show at the Digital Hub as part of the the Liberties Festival this week (until Sunday). Pat and his family are recovering and rebuilding following an arson attack on their Ballyfermot home in May. He spoke to Sarah Burns in the Irish Times yesterday about the exhibition and the kindness of the wider community since their home was damaged.
